Darlings Nursery

Well we have finally decided on the nursery. I know, I know it only took 6 & half months and trust me it was freaking me out; because I'm the type of person that wants it done ASAP, but I have come to realize that the baby nursery is going to take longer cause there are so many little pieces that are going to pull it together.

We went to Lowes looking for a grey paint color because we weren't having any luck finding any metallic paint colors like we had wanted.  We were looking and I lucky came across Valspar Signature colors Brilliant Metals!! I was so happy when I came across it in the store that I was hopping up and down! lol

We were stuck between these two colors but I was nervous that the darker color was going to be to harsh with the black furniture, so we agreed on Simple Shimmer. Its a two coat paint process Jerry has painted the first coat which is like the main color and this weekend he is going to put the metallic look on; I am so excited to see how it turns out!! 

I have been looking a lot on Esty.com and I have to say that I am in LOVE with the owl themes. I have found the most percious owl lamp that is the perfect pink for her room that I'm going to buy. So her room is themed as: 

• Snow Leopard print
• Owls 
• Colors: Pink, Silver, Black and White.

 I'm hoping it doesn't look weird being Snow Leopard & Owls, but the only thing that is really Leopard is the bedding. My Wonderful friend Liz is doing my bedding and she sent me pics the other day and all I can say is that it looks wonderful!!

This is the inside of my bump with the Pink Minky and black lace. (the brown sheet doesn't go with Bliss's bedding it will be a velvet pink like the bows on the next picture.)

The Outside of my Bumper; Snow Leopard with black lace. I love love my velvet pink bows, I think it ties it together beautifully!

 I think Liz has done a fablous job she also is doing my curtains in the Velvet Pink Bows and they will look like this:

Last but not least my fabulous grandmother found me a dresser that I've wanted for her room.

Jerry is going to paint it black for me and where its gold paint it either Pink or Silver. I think its going to look so pretty!! Im so anxious to see how it turns out.

Nursery Ideas.....

So I have been trying to figure out how to do Bliss's bedroom, and lets just say its hard!!! 

The colors I have decided on are:

1. Black (cause of my furniture)
2. White (cause it looks clean and fresh)
3. Silver (love)
4. Pink (Can't decide if i want light pink or the hot/deep pink like in the first picture below.)
5. I also want either Leopard or Zebra; I can't decide which one i want more but I'm leaning toward leopard, but more the snow leopard thats black and white!

Heres a couple of ideas that I like! : ]

I love the color of this room and the pink but i have to be careful because my furniture is black. 

I love the tree but it would be black with hot/deep pink.

This room is my FAVORITE!! i love the colors!! <3

The light pink is so sweet!

I love the hot pink and zebra; I think it looks great!

This is my baby bed.

I love this dresser! 

This is the bedding I picked out but I don't like the bottom thats pink so i like the bottom of the next picture.

I love these little Pom paper decors but I want mine in hot pink, light pink and silver.

Bed Rest for me!

Well sunday night/Monday morning I woke up with my stomach hurting pretty bad, I figured it was because it had been a couple of hours for me to go to the bathroom and I had drank 5 bottle of waters before bed but when I went to go back to bed from the bathroom I collapsed to the floor cause my stomach was hurting so bad. So I sat on the bathroom floor for about 10 min with wolverine and Wendy looking at me like I was crazy because they didn't understand why I was sitting on the floor of the bathroom, finally I made myself get up but ended up having to wake Jerry up because I couldn't get up on the bed. Well made myself go back to sleep, Jerry woke me up when he was leaving for checking on me and told me that if I'm still hurting i need to call my doctor, I told him ok and layed back down because I figured my stomach was starting to stretch because I'm 21 weeks now. Well I got up at 8 and was still hurting pretty horribly so I called my Mawmaw and she told me I need to call me doctor now! So I called and they told me that I needed to go to the hospital ASAP! So I called Mawmaw back and told her and she was like I'll be right over to take you up there, I texted Jerry and he freaked out and was fixing to leave work but I told him no let's just wait and see what they say, so I get up there they take me right in and we listen for Bliss's heartbeat (yes we decided on the name Bliss Victoria), her heart beat was 150 per minute; so a rush of relief went thru me well that put me some other monitors on me left for about 20 min came back and was like well we have to get you an I.V. and start giving you shots because your having contractions. My heart stopped, I said are you sure? She was like yeah and they are pretty bad so we need to make sure your not dilating so we checked and I wasn't thank goodness so they give my shots and sit there for about 8 hours and they said my contraction have slowed and I can go home but if they get worst I have to come back immediately. So I get go home on strict bed rest, tuesday seemed like the longest day ever contracted but they weren't as bad as the day before Wednesday came and the night before was pretty ruff with contractions so Mawmaw came over to check on me and she could tell I was hurting so she made me call my doctor, well They told me go back to the hospital, so we did and i was contracting bad again, so they gave me I.V., shots and steroids. I was there from 9 till 9 that night they didn't want me to go home but they let me with medicine to slow the contractions and strict bed rest, the next morning Thursday my doctor made me come in ASAP to see him and he double dose my medicine and told me that Bliss is perfectly healthy but I'm trying to go into preterm labor, he told me that if I went to have her this early that she wouldn't survive this early so I'm on strict bed rest till told other wise, I go back to see him Monday and we will go from there. I'm still contracting but they aren't as bad as they were. Tomorrow is mother day and the family is suppose to be going out to eat, I'm going to go I just don't want to over do it. I guess we will see how it goes.

Decisions Decisions..

Well I went to the doctor on Monday and found out that we will be a having a little girl, So now I'm completely baffled because I was hoping for a boy! So now we are trying to decide on names and design of the room.

These are some of our favorite:

I have to say that my favorite is Bliss! I absolutely love it, Jerry not so much. lol I love that it isn't  a common name, and it's very rememberable & that's what every mother wants is for there child to make an impression even if it's there name.

Jerry LOVES Kylie Victoria, I like it but i'm not sure it's the ONE. I really want to name her bliss but I'm having a hard time figuring out a middle name for her. I would really love to name her that so I'm going to continue to look for a middle name.

Well off to cook dinner and watch Vampire Diaries!
