My Weekend!!
Sunday:

I posted last week about list of stuff I still need to get & I have managed to knock a few things off my list. : ]

•  Lily gel nursing pads
•  NUK/Gerber warm & cool breast relief packs.
•  A breast pump, I’m still trying to decide on which brand because there are so many to choose from!!! (HELP!!!)
•  Wipe warmer
•  Another Diaper Genie & refills.
•  Boppy Newborn Lounger
•  Soaps, Lotions, Destin, Boogie Wipes, Baby Powder, Aquaphor, Diapers & Wipes. (You can never have enough right? lol)
•  Nursing Bras
•  Tucks medicated Wipes
•  Belly Bandit
•  Bumbo
•  Bath Tub
•  Bottle Warmer (Will I really use this though?)

I also bought so more bottle nipples, leg warmers, (still need a pair of black ones having a hard time finding leg warmers, I guess it being summer time & all.), mittens (don’t want her to scratch her precious face.), wash clothes, Burp clothes & bliss a sling, Blanket for me while at the hospital, Im totally in LOVE with it. I’ll post a picture of it after I wash it. 

I still need to finish getting stuff for our hospital bags, I have NO clue what Jerry should pack to wear while at the hospital. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  :)

I also want to go and stock up on groceries and stuff like that, So I will be headed to Walmart & Sams this week! 

I have actually been SUPER busy today, I cleaned out Bliss’s soon to be Playroom & My soon to be office & let me tell you what It was AWFUL! I had a whole long truck bed of trash I hauled to the dump! Luckily Jerry helped me take it all to the dump, came home and vacuumed, and mopped 5 or 6 times lost count. I also need to go to Lowes this week to get paint for the playroom & for my office, I want to paint my office in Pink & grey and her playroom pink, but I might change my mind so I’m going to browse at colors.


My Saturday!

Today I worked my booty off working in Bliss’s room. My daddy came and helped me finish the dresser & hung my curtains for me! It was so nice to spend some quality time with my dad, it’s been way to long!! When we well more him than I finished putting the dresser together and hung the curtains, I got busy vacuuming and mopping. I vacuumed the room five times, mopped its six times then got down on my hands and knees with a magic eraser and scrubbed for an hour & half till Jerry came in and freaked out on me and told me to stop, It couldn’t get any cleaner. lol Here’s a couple of pictures.

I finally bought Bliss Her baby book & made her this white TUTU!! :)

Happy Saturday!

Jerry’s working all weekend so i’m planning on:

• Finishing wash ALL of Bliss’s clothes! ha
• Hang her curtains.
• Finish her dresser (highly doubtful)
• Hang her sign over her bed.
•  Clean the floor & lay her rug down.
• Go to town & do some shopping!! : ]
• Coming home and doing some MAJOR cleaning on the house!!

Lazy Saturday!

Today so far, I have done a whole lot of NOTHING!
Yesterday was my twin cousins 7th birthday, I’m still in shock that they are already 7!! Boy does time fly by, it makes me sad cause I’m starting to realize that it will be this way with Bliss too! :(
I was planning on putting the finishing touches on Bliss’s nursery this morning but I have not felt good at all today, still have a horrible headache, pressure and contracting. So Jerry and my Mawmaw insists on me laying down today so I’m definitely not going to argue.
I was really wanting to attend the breastfeeding seminar at babies r us’ but looks like I will be missing out on it sadly.
Ok breastfeeding, its a big deal to me and I am definitely going to try it but I don’t want her directly on my boob, I know I probably sounds crazy, but I’m just not comfortable with it. I would like to just pump into the bottle for her, but how would I do that at the hospital?
I have been doing a lot of reading about breastfeeding but I haven’t came across anything like what I’m wanting to do, so does anyone have any suggestions or can you point me in the right direction?
Who knows I might give in and completely give my boobs over to Bliss but I’m still not in that boat quite yet. Lol
I’m hoping tomorrow, I will be more up for getting stuff done because I would really like to finish everything with her nursery! I know we need to go Lowes to get stuff to finish her closet and corner shelves, but last weekend we went to get the shelves they didn’t have them in black, so fingers crossed they will this weekend, if not I will have to get online and order them.
On a good note Bliss’s hospital outfits will be ready Wednesday for pick up, I ordered her initials and name on two onies a white and light pink. I’m so excited to see how they turn out! :) I also made her a white tutu and bought her baby book!! I was going to start writing in it yesterday but I hate my hand writing so I’m debating on getting scrap books stuff to do it or print stuff off the computer. I guess we will see. Lol
I’m going to get off here & try to take a nap, I don’t see that happening but I’m going to at least give it a try!

I can’t even fathom at how happy I am right now! Last week I emailed Kristin at  http://www.projectbabyblog.com/, and asked her how she merged her pictures together; She emailed me back and gave me a couple of pointers and guess what I figure it out!! It took me a little while, but It finally got it done! Lol I’m not going to lie I’m so happy I could cry because I tried earlier in the week but I was just getting frustrated and annoyed so I called it quits and today I was like lets try it again & I succeed. YAY me!!! :)  

I’m super happy it’s friday, I have a lot of plans for this week. 

Tonight going to the track to run the Camaro.

Tomorrow- I will be 34 weeks. : ] Finish setting up the nursery which will be an all weekend chore because there is a lot to do still.

• Put her Chester drawer together.
• Hang curtains.
• Hang Pictures.
• Organize closet
• Finish washing all her clothes & blankets.

I still have some shopping to do for her room but it isn’t anything to stress about.

Im going to go get ready to head to the track, hope everyone has a safe, joyful weekend!

Yay for friday!

Doctors Appointment

 

Today I went to my doctors appointment to see my sweet little Bliss! Doctors appointment didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, Considering my doctor put me back on bed rest and coming back to see him every week again because of my contractions & cervix. On the up side I did get to see her today and got a picture!! :) 

Its a picture of her head/face. 

If you look closely you can she her mouth is opened, on the sono machine she was opening and closing her mouth like she was chewing on a skittle!! Its was so sweet to see!!

I was so happy when he measured her to see how much see weighted and said that she was almost 3 pounds now!! She was a pound & half it seemed like forever! 

After my appointment I came home and finished her furniture.

Paint mirror that goes with dresser & hang it

Fix door

Make a canopy (maybe not positive yet)

Im sure I will add stuff to her room but that is just what is on the top of my list!

Today:

 I decided that I was going to take some pregnancy/belly pictures. I have other idea's for more pictures. I know that includes my Jerry Todd being included in some & being outside!! So stay tuned. : ]

Lunch with Liz. : ]

A beautiful end to the weekend.

 

Saturday Jerry & I went shopping about town for stuff for Bliss's room but didn't really find anything or that stood out except for the most perfect Curtain Rod from Hobby Lobby, but while we were at Target I came across a canopy for our porch that we just built but we weren't sure if it would fit or not so we left without it sadly, so we went home & this morning I got up and went measured and it would fit but it would definitely be a tight fit so we decided to go ahead and get it and if it didn't fit that we could put it in the back yard by the pool.

So I left and went to target get there and it wasn't there, they were sold out!! I was heart broken but I'm defiantly going to keep a look out for another one! So I ended up getting another Umbrella for the table because ours had broke in one of the horrible storms this year. While I was at Target Jerry put the second coat of paint for Bliss's room and I was praying that it turns out like what we were hoping for. On the way home I texted my friend Liz who's doing my bedding and she said she was going to head over because she finished Bliss's bedding and Curtains; Can we say YAY!!! She came over and I was utterly shocked at how wonderful it turned out.

I couldn't be more happy with bedding and curtains; I think that they came out BEAUTIFULLY! 

To continue with my day Jerry also decided that we need to paint the shutters of our house because they are an awful faded green and I have always wanted black shutters and a front black door.

Darlings Nursery

Well we have finally decided on the nursery. I know, I know it only took 6 & half months and trust me it was freaking me out; because I'm the type of person that wants it done ASAP, but I have come to realize that the baby nursery is going to take longer cause there are so many little pieces that are going to pull it together.

We went to Lowes looking for a grey paint color because we weren't having any luck finding any metallic paint colors like we had wanted.  We were looking and I lucky came across Valspar Signature colors Brilliant Metals!! I was so happy when I came across it in the store that I was hopping up and down! lol

We were stuck between these two colors but I was nervous that the darker color was going to be to harsh with the black furniture, so we agreed on Simple Shimmer. Its a two coat paint process Jerry has painted the first coat which is like the main color and this weekend he is going to put the metallic look on; I am so excited to see how it turns out!! 

I have been looking a lot on Esty.com and I have to say that I am in LOVE with the owl themes. I have found the most percious owl lamp that is the perfect pink for her room that I'm going to buy. So her room is themed as: 

• Snow Leopard print
• Owls 
• Colors: Pink, Silver, Black and White.

 I'm hoping it doesn't look weird being Snow Leopard & Owls, but the only thing that is really Leopard is the bedding. My Wonderful friend Liz is doing my bedding and she sent me pics the other day and all I can say is that it looks wonderful!!

This is the inside of my bump with the Pink Minky and black lace. (the brown sheet doesn't go with Bliss's bedding it will be a velvet pink like the bows on the next picture.)

The Outside of my Bumper; Snow Leopard with black lace. I love love my velvet pink bows, I think it ties it together beautifully!

 I think Liz has done a fablous job she also is doing my curtains in the Velvet Pink Bows and they will look like this:

Last but not least my fabulous grandmother found me a dresser that I've wanted for her room.

Jerry is going to paint it black for me and where its gold paint it either Pink or Silver. I think its going to look so pretty!! Im so anxious to see how it turns out.
